Schuler Group can trace its roots back to a locksmith shop founded in G？ppingen, Germany, by Louis Schuler in 1839. The company has produced metal-working machines since 1852. In addition to its numerous foreign subsidiaries, Schuler Group also comprises Müller Weingarten, which is acquired in April 2007, and in July 2013, it has been renamed as Schuler (Dalian) Forming Technologies Co., Ltd. Schuler has expanded her production site in Dalian from 5000 m2 to 16000 m2 within one year, the factory area has been expanded more than triple, the total investment amounts to about 16 million Euro.
