Founded by Ken and Joan Austin in 1964 with the goal of creating quality solutions that simplify the lives of dentists worldwide. A-dec is the largest privately owned dental equipment manufacturing company in the United States and the 2nd largest dental equipment producer in the world. Headquartered in Newverg, Oregon A-dec operates from a constantly expanding campus of 11 buildings comprised of 600,000 square feet spread out over 50 acres of land. We design, build, and market much of the equipment and furniture used in the dental office, including dental chairs, stools, delivery systems, dental lights and cabinetry.
As a top choice the world over, dental schools and institutions in over 75 countries around the world choose A-dec. Over 80% of all dental schools in the United States and Canada have A-dec equipment.
